Patient Care Coordinator – Join Our Friendly Dental Team!

Are you a people-person who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment? We're looking for a Patient Care Coordinator who is organized, compassionate, and committed to delivering an exceptional patient experience every step of the way.

As the first and last point of contact for our patients, you’ll play a vital role in helping them feel comfortable, informed, and cared for—whether it’s their first visit or their fiftieth. You’ll be responsible for managing appointment schedules, explaining treatment plans, coordinating care, and ensuring that each patient’s dental journey runs smoothly from start to finish.

What You'll Do:

  • Be the friendly face that welcomes every patient with warmth and professionalism
  • Manage phone calls, emails, texts, and all patient communications in a timely, helpful manner
  • Schedule and confirm appointments to maintain a full, productive calendar
  • Verify insurance and patient information, ensuring accurate data entry
  • Educate patients about their treatment options and financial responsibilities
  • Help patients navigate their dental care by coordinating follow-ups and treatment plans
  • Maintain clean, organized front office and assist with general tidiness of shared spaces
  • Collaborate with the clinical team in daily huddles and team meetings
  • Support the business team with reports (unscheduled treatment, hygiene recall, etc.)

What We’re Looking For:

  • A proactive, customer-service driven attitude
  • Strong communication skills—both verbal and written
  • Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy office setting
  • A true team player who thrives in a collaborative environment
  • Prior experience in a dental or medical office is preferred, but we’re willing to train the right person!

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED required
  • 1–2 years of front office, dental, or customer service experience (preferred)
  • Familiarity with dental insurance, treatment plans, and fee schedules is a plus
  • Comfortable using dental software, Microsoft Office, and general computer applications

Bonus Points If You:

  • Have a working knowledge of dental terminology and insurance billing
  • Are confident with financial discussions and payment options
  • Are detail-oriented with great follow-through

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit, stand, and move throughout the day
  • Lift/move up to 10 lbs occasionally
  • Comfortable with basic office equipment and moderate noise levels

If you’re ready to be a valued part of a caring dental team where you can grow, learn, and make a difference in people’s lives—we want to meet you!
